URBAVORE farmers Brooke Salvaggio & Daniel Heryer have delighted and satiated the palates of Kansas City’s food community for over a decade. The farm produces high-quality, flavor-packed food crops while enhancing the land and building rich soil. Special products include strawberries, blueberries, muskmelons, asparagus, gourmet potatoes, heirloom tomatoes, hard-neck garlic, specialty roots, and much more! Two hundred heritage breed laying hens run on pasture, fertilizing fallow vegetable fields while feasting on juicy bugs, supple grasses, and certified organic grain. Multi-colored, nutrient-rich eggs are available spring through fall. Pastured pork products from heritage breed pigs are available year-round. Our pigs are fed certified organic grain and rotated every two weeks through lush pastures seeded with nutritional forage.

After many years of selling at Farmers' Markets, URBAVORE products are now available directly from the urban farm on Thursdays through online pre-order as well as a member based CSA Program. Eaters can connect with not only the farmers, but the very fields where their food is grown. What a treat! Cackle with the chickens, holler at the hogs, and take in the ever changing food scape that nurtures your belly.
